> Live & Replay Howto
FastFoot-Challenge games are broadcast live on the satellite maps of Google Earth. The replays let you watch a game later on.
Install Google Earth
Please install Google Earth, before watching a live broadcast or a replay.
Watch Live
If a FastFoot game is currently taking place and the players have activated the live option, it will be shown in the FastFoot-Ticker. Follow the link "Watch live" and open the KMZ file with Google Earth.
The
timeline is in the upper left of the Google Earth screen. Open the
timeline fully (as shown in the picture), to display the game
correctly. One marker has to be at the left, the other at the right
edge. Otherwise, not all players will be shown!
Replays ansehen
When a game is over, the FastFoot-Ticker
shows a link to the replay. Follow the "Watch replay" link and open the
KMZ file with Google Earth. If you played a game yourself, you will
also receive an email with the replay.
Open
the timeline a little bit (as shown in the image) and press the "play"
button. You can set the replay speed in the settings (the tool icon in
the upper right).
Exit
When you quit Google Earth, it asks you,
if you would like to save temporary data. Press "No" for not saving the
game data. Otherwise, it will be present the next time you start the
program and you will probably see two games concurrently.
Bugs
Google Earth 5.1 for Linux has a bug, that displays games incorrectly. There is Bugfix to get it right.
